The whole assembly is fabricated using 'plastic weld'. Tonight I took on the mind numbing job of attaching a couple of hundred dummy rivets one at a time. Also made the rope poles from 2mm square section brass. The pole forks and the eyelets on the end of each transverse beam are made from 0.8mm brass rod. Just a few more rivets to do then the task of fabricating the trolley wheels. However, I think I'll spray-paint the assembly with grey primer before tackling the wheels.
