The further you get into it, the easier this task becomes. I've done about half of the planking off of the assembly jig. Because I took a lot of care during the earlier stage of planking the hull has stayed true with no kinks or imbalance. This was confirmed when I slipped the hull back on to the jig for checking with no friction. Just a few wee bits and then it's time for sanding and filling.
