wiz at boat built the sardonyx then converted to scallops when the new sardonyx was built did na know she was changed back to trawl again na unless im mixin up the boats
your right that is the first sardonyx that was rigged for scallops .
this boat was trawling from whitby mid to late 90s owned by locker trawlers
not sure how long she was at scallop fishing but was for a time before goin bck to twin rig
i can mine her getin converted over to scallops think sandy watt gave the sardonyx to es brother michael en sandy took this boat sardius en spent a lot o money converting her to scallops it was the late jimmy joiner in macduff that did the job,cann mine which year that was ,long time ago tho
