Test run

The first frame is steam bent into place. This one just to test to see if the steam box is working as i hoped and to gauge how the rest of the timber will perform. Its hard to tell exactly how a particular batch of oak will bend until you try a sample. So before we set up to to the whole run i try one. This one is held to the shape with wooden props, the rest will be riveted in as I go. In this shot the hull is looking pretty good and ready for oil.
