Once again I have used the plank bender tool to assist with the planking at the stem but more particularly, the stern where the curvature is compounded by inducing bends AND twists. I use the bender tool transversely for ordinary curves then diagonally for twisting without overly stressing the wood. I am using 8mm x 1.8mm obechi planks. I would prefer 7mm but it's very difficult obtaining them at this present time so I am using 8mm where I can, saving my few 7mm planks for areas where the bending is more acute.
Great Stuff, Will, the start of another masterpiece.

Hi Dave. Good to hear from you again. Enjoyin your early summer? Trying a build without making up a jig for assembly. Tricky but no too bad. Take care and keep in touch.
Best wishes
