    Certainly widnae get dazzled wae lichts in them days :),then the fluorescent strip lichts came aboot,early ones didnae like to much salt water aboot them!!   O0

    There's as mony lights up the after mast for a fishing signal (triangle o' 3 white lights), as there are to illuminate the deck!  O0

    D'ye mind the "cluster" lichts? Like a big enamel basin, wi' up to half a dozen or so bulbs, dangled fae the derrick. Common on drifters and line boats, lang ago.
