Billie she was a cracker of a boat but she did no hey the sweet lines o the june rose, I allways thought the june was just a bonny model o a boat.

Aye Bryan the June Rose had bonny lines and was a dawdle to work when it was time to haul the net on a poor day.
The cruiser stern made her much easier to handle. Ye put her stern to the wind with the rudder hard ower and she would sit there all day nae bother. I could work poorer weather with the June than I could with the Shalayna.
If it was a right gale and you were dodging there was no contest, the Shalayna was a far better seaboat.
