    was out on her way raymond goslin 4couple o days went into 2my bunk an u would a thought someon was flingin buckets o water at u would a been better climin in way oil skins on
    was this the Stathdoon,that scrubber and fizzy had
    many a day i wished i had ma oilskins on in the bunk!  can remember the day archie"lochie"paterson got a big shot of dogs and pulled the pole doon,ronnie brownie had to lift them aboard her for him
    That's the difference, some of us did sleep in the oilskins!

    The real craic was when the stores were full of Wills Whiffs!

    what about the time the sister in law's faither gus gorman boiled a whole cabbage in the kettle as they only had wan pot in coalins time, great idea until gus tried to get the cabbage oot the kettle, then the tea tasting of cabbage for a month afterwards. better still the older brother in another life might have ended up merried tae caroline, the folks were up a visit and the old man and coalin went up to the glen for a drink, hit a wall on the way back and nobody would admit to having been driving? nae wunner the car hit the wall.
