    a nice set of coble pics dave, nice to know there is still a fair few on the go.
    bonny looking coble this one, i see on the pics you have put on several of them are obviously older boats but i cant see a drawbar arrangement on any of them.

    I'll agree with Valhalla there a great set of pics. I think as most cobles these days are kept on deep water moorings, the lifting gear has been removed. Also i tend to think most of the older ones are used for pleasure there is not the need to be able to get at the prop and shaft to remove tangled gear etc. (did that a few times in the sixties).   O0 :(
