Very observant, Ms Gaga. Shops etc. run well past the pier at Ullapool. So where is it?

It's definately Ullapool ~ those houses are still there, just lots more around them now.
Between petrol station and where Angie Allan lived? Bare lookin' right enough. Memories o' climbin' across boats to get the herrin' sample up to the sale ring. Boats bunched roun' the pier like mussels.
And the days when the visitors were allowed down the pier for a look around the boats busy at their tasks,only danger was(if you were lucky)is gettin hit wae scorries crap!! 
aye ben loyal its beyond a joke. im all for tidying up but what active fishing pier doesnt have a trawl on it? he wont be happy until its full of yatchs
