    Karona, Forbes built mid 60s for Ireland. Think her name was Castleforde. Looks like Miller built Golden West astern (now Kairos), and John Goodbrand's Nobles' built Edelweiss inside her.

    Karona and Edelwiess both in Stornoway now, the Karona is now the Heather Isle SY47 and the Edelwiess is now the Comrade III SY337

    Spent 6 wks aboard Karona, while Bountiful BF79 was nearing completion at Sandhaven in '77. On commenting on how small the cabin was, and how tiny the bunks were, the cook told me "there's nae enough room to turn a chew o' tobacco in yer mou'.." !!
