Formerly Jimmy Gibsons Laurisa-caught a few herring in her day!
sorcha,i think she was built as green braes if not she was almost new when name changed
she was built laurisa BA 145,john ralph bought her and renamed her Green Brae late 70's maybe 78 -79
She was the QUIET WATERS FR sk Albert Ritchie, then INCENTIVE BF sk Ritchard Wiseman, then sold to Ireland where she was scrapped. I think she went on fire or something..
Wrong wrong wrong, she was built as Laurisa for Jimmy Gibson of Dunure, Quiet Waters different boat did indeed finish up in Ayr owned by Jimmy Gibson when he went back to sea years after he sold Laurisa to Hopeman or Burghead, Bob and Neil Munro had Quiet Waters as the Incentive when they bought her off Jimmy and had her till they built Charisma in Eyemouth
Aye John Tar -I knew Jimmys nephew (he worked aside ma dad) we looked over the Laurisa when she was new about 73/74.
