Again if anyone can name it I will edit the title.  I also couldn't see a specific gallery for lightships but figured Rescue was appropriate as we'd be lost (quite literally?) without them.


All these Blyth pics are recovered from old slides and not that much is know about them.

They were taken by George Garrod who served on the Cowpen and Crofton Dredgers.



    The light ship is called the TYNE.
    EX CALSHOT SPIT BUT HER FIRST PLACE WAS THE SEVEN STONES INTHE WESTEN APROCHES NOW THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE ROYAL NORTHUMBERLAND YACHT CLUB. THE SMALL YACHT TO THE STERN WAS CALLED PAVAN
