Invader OB 169

Invader OB 169 seen here alongside North Shields Fishquay in the period between the last 1970s and the early 1980s.

Anyone out there who can put a name to her?

DON'T KNOW THE BOAT STEVE, BUT AM SURE THATS A DUTCH REG. :)
Well it could be either Ouddrop - Netherlands or Oost Duinkerke - Belgium.

There is a canny list of Registration Letters @ http://www.aandc.org...hing_ports.html

could it be ob169,was the invader not look similar to this
    looks danish or swedish built
I've had a good squint at the Registration and it is a D rather than a B - I did think OB myself at one stage.  :)

The vessel is indeed the Invader OB 169. Built in Norway, I think in 1952 and operated by Tyneside owners in the early 1980's. I cannot recall exactly what happened to her.
    Hi Guys

Yet another 'team effort' on the identification front - thanks to one and all  :)

DEFF THE INVADER STEVE WEN SHE FINISHED FISHING GEORDIE CRUTWELL BOUGHT HER AT THE TIME WEN HE OWNED HARRISONS SLIPWAY UP THE TYNE HE CONVERTED HER AND TOOK TO SPAIN
I remember this boat working from Girvan, think it was in seventies? Billy Milligan skippered her. Think he was in partnership with a Seahouses man, John Swallow . Steve,  hope you realise how much thought I had to put into remembering that name. John had a smokehouse in Seahouses before he passed away some years ago. His kippers were braw too!
