One of a brace of ring netters at the AH Sea Fest on Saturday. Built by Walter Reekie, St Monance in 1947 with a Kelvin power unit. She was later fitted with a Gardner 5LW and much later with a Gardner 6LW. She is currently owned by the Northumbrian Fishing Heritage Trust but her story can also be seen on the North East Maritime Trust website which is www.nemt.co.uk
This was more of a restoration project than a conversion.
Very nice details and picture
Thanks Earlsferry.
