Its either NEVASSA or UGANDA terry,they used to run 7 day cruises for schools, down to the west coast of africa................

aye paul you could be right with the uganda m8. she was part of the taskforce for the falklands war and fitted out as a troopship/hospital ship. after the war she was refitted here at smiths.
so this could be her leaving re commisioned as a passenger liner which may explain the bunting
