She was a total loss going ashore in a SE gale at Johnshaven in the early 70s.

brought back memories that photograph robert spent my summer holidays aboard this one the summer of 69 skipper frank steele [what a man]she went ashore right enough between jonshaven and stonehaven and if my memory is right there was a journalist on the spot at the time who photographed the crew coming ashore in the breeches buoy which won him photogapher of the year in the daily express.
any idea what yr that photo was taken robert

She went ashore just under the Golf course in Stoney and was scrapped on the shore at Tangleha, near Johnshaven ,Maxie Davidson cut her up and I believe it was Andra Mearns towed her up there.
