Only cos they are getting huge government subsidies...
I believe its a bit early doggy to see if it becomes a safe haven for sealife around them , i have seen articles that say the tons of limestone dumped around the windmill bases are attracting lots of sealife shellfish etc etc in turn attracting cod and suchlike, hopefully they become safe breeding areas. Its a shame we can,t seem to have ernergy that pays for itself without the huge subsidies and our bills going up , i would rather the windmills are out at sea than on land seeing the size of the things , but everyones got a strong oppinion either way, the extra employment our way is a good thing , the fishings dodgy !
