Wistaria

Wistaria

Heading into Ayr , partnered the Mystic - became BA reg - Silver quest?
i thought there were only two Wistaria,s the one that beacame Shemaron and the slightly bigger but similar later one ?
Was this one an east coast boat FR116
Built Sandhaven '72 for Tony (Anthony Eden) Cowe of Fraserburgh.. named after prime minister, I think!! Paired with his brother Billy in Mystic FR124, built slightly later .. almost identical vessels. Fished exceptionally well. The next Wistaria came out of Jimmy Nobles' yard. Slightly bigger, tank ship, with twin main engines on one shaft. This one was sold to Ireland.

    homeward bound

That was the last Wisteria that sank off Barra Head was owned by Ebbie and Joe McWhinney of Portavogie and had rsw tanks that were removed by the Kennings.
Where did this one plunk anyways?
i have a funny notion this one was lost in the irish sea. she was portavogie owned at the time but i cant right remember what happened her. i think she went down off the isle of man somewhere.
