Girl Jean exhaust

Following on from discussions with Joe Marr and Syd Cargill, exhaust assembled and fitted in galley at correct location. The exhaust and silencer made from plastic tubing. Exhaust exit with counter-balanced cap on roof. The exhaust cap is cut from nickel silver and brass, assembled then soldered and painted. The counter balanced cap actually functions except I've no got any exhaust pressure to push it up..!!  This picture shows positions with galley roof sitting alongside the galley. The galley roof locates under framing at back of the wheelhouse and a locking pin disguised as a cleat holds the roof in place on the rear panel.
