    had to pull the cat up here a few years ago after getting be-calmed in in the solway, nice holiday house now, was an active life boat station till 1928

    Its a beautiful place certainly remote for a lifeboat station

    Also the Site of the largest recorded line caught cod from memory 47lbs,
    Not many of them left in the solway :cheers:
