    Certainly a bonny bonny boat, such a pity we'll never see the north sea, full o them ladies again wi the drifts and every body making a wage and good humour and crack an all working together and never doing a bad turn.
    Oh these are changed days, I can remember never locking the foc'sle hatch or the wheelhouse door, no matter where we were.

    There was a very good reason that wheelhouse doors were never locked years ago Bob (even if they did have a key)...there was bugger all inside to pinch,and anything that was there weighed a ton!...you could hide a Navstar 2000 in yer pocket in later years,try doing that wi' an MS 22 or a Coastal wireless :-
    Built by Jones's Buckie 1948, 65ft with a 120hp Blackstone engine.  :-
