Ah, but there's nothing like your own photos and a good look at the boat. That's never felt truer than for the past wee spell. I've been working up a painting from a CG-image - a bigger headache than I want to admit, for longer than I care to admit.
Would have to agree with you there- when that's possible ! Nothing like the real thing lol ! For photos and a good look around, car+hours=pain for me though ...saying that the car type doesn't help, but everytime I think of getting a jeep(for the horsey etc) I have a wee spin with the top down and music loud and I think no way will I ever get rid lol. Sounds like you are on some mission Rob lol....well so am I !!!
....I bought a humoungous board...and I mean humoungous lol....cost me a packet ! I also bought a wee 20cmX20cm to try out Acryllics...well I have to say I thought they were hellish to begin with(just as I thought last time I tried them). I persevered, and I have mastered them yipeeeeee.... a different way of painting to the watercolour. Yes I am even getting every last detail in that medium as well no bother, so I'm proud of myself ! I just need to decide what subject to paint on big board now lol..I can't wait to see your new one Rob.....sounds great ...as for me, well I might do that big one in swap for a horsebox if anyone got one lol...or a high trailer that could be altered !!!
