Ashore on the South East side of Kerrera near Heather Island. At least he's done all the right things..anchors out fore and aft and midships, weights on the ropes, just need a wee bit bigger tide now to get her off...would have been a lot easier putting extra ropes out before the storm hit rather than after, but maybe that's just me nit picking lol
Looks ok apart from it's meant to have a fin keel ??
Bob
Bob
Don't think there's anything missing Bob,I'm sure she's one of these shallow drafted jobs with a drop keel. The wee bit she's lying on isnae too bad really,a few wee stones but nothing serious...unless it comes away a screaming South Easter she should be fine where she is.There was another one that broke adrift where my wee boat lies, sailed herself over to the marina at Kerrera, right into a vacant berth at the pontoons and never got a scratch on her(might even be on Utube that one)most amazing thing you ever saw.
must hiv been on autopilot
There must have been a helluva lot of others using the same type of pilot Mack, according to the chief moorings mannie for the West Coast there were over 200 boats broke loose that day...personally I wouldnae have thought the figure was as high, but that's what was quoted.
You nit picking YR? That's no like you!!
ronnie the autopliot joke wiz referring to the one that sailed itself inta an empty berth
