The sail that I'm making it for is in the Italian colours Frank..that's very nearly as bad

It's a spinnaker snuffer on the cheap. I'm no saying it'll work as well as the genuine article,but it winna cost twa hunner an' fifty pound and that's its selling point for me

It gauns up and doon the sail on an endless rope and makes life a lot easier when ye're trying tae tame yin o' thae big spinnakers on a drafty day.The sail gets hoisted inside the tube,tube gets pulled up tae the top and ye're off..pull it back doon again when ye want tae dowse the sail...as the wee meerkat says "simple"..that's the theory anyway,doesnae aye work that wey though
