Tempest and Viking Barge 3 inbound to the Port of Tyne, North East England on 11th April 2011, with sections from a Gas Platform from the Shell UK Indefatigable gas field. Photographed from Western Quay, North Shields.

The Rig Jacket is bound for the former Swan Hunter Shipyard at Wallsend for scrapping.

    Evidently there is loads of copper piping in the jackets - loads of money for scrap copper at the minute :uglystupid2:
