Margaret Ann SD.85

wasnt she in seaham late 80s?
built for John taylor in 79 who fished her out of seaham till he sold her to carl allen around 1986. passed over to the Tucks in the 90s then seems to have been sold out of seaham sometime around 2005 and was sunk somewhere down on the south west .

She fished from Seaton & Lyme Regis for a while (probably came there around 2005) then she was sold to South or West Wales somewhere. She wasn't there very long before she sank.
Margaret Ann was built for the 1977 boat show and was afloat at earl’s court, John Taylor Bought her from the boat show for 22k the old boys at the time said it was impossible for a boat this size to pay for itself. The Margaret Ann & second girl Jane were very successful boats paying for themselves many times over.

I Think in this picture we were fishing for shrimps and working out of shields to save the steaming or fishing the Lamb chop in the summer months.
Only Lamb Chop you've see Little Bud is the ones on yer plate with peas and a mountain of mash  :uglystupid2:
little buds plate is like a bin lid  :uglystupid2: ;D :tickedoff: ;D
Good to know about the Earls court bit, I always thought both the white girl jane and margret anne where ordered at the same time. like you say bothe top fishing machines of the harbour in their day.
I’m not sure but i think Taylor got Margaret Ann, When ya dad had wooden girl Jane, john had a little wooden open deck clinker boat  for potting, then ya Dad ordered the white Cygnus Girl Jane i will find out unless mr D Can remember he worked on the white Girl Jane.
