could of been homeward bound, thomas a alexander maidens owner in 1984 olsens,

Homeward-bound this is the one Andy had Macduff built boat, built for a Gamrie man. Andy sold her to Allan Carson Portavogie where she ended her days, the KY Argosy was in Avoch for a while.
Built Macduff 1960 for Bill (PennanBill) West, originally from Gamrie. He replaced her with Poseidon, from same builder.
Bill had the Ocean Gem..MFV before this one.
One of Alan Conley's (Carradale) many boats,, bought this one from East Coast and re-engined her with a Cat.

Alan once neighboured JCG with the Sapphire at the herring with this one. He was also astute enough to realise that there were easier ways to enhance your bank balance than relentlessly towing gear astern of you. I cann't think of one that he sold that left the village looking anything other than pristene.
Need to tut tut that one Dunard, Crystal Sea, Silver Fern, Spes Bona and Highland Queen after this one as far as I remember, might be having another senior moment and missed one or two, but he took some time to twig towing a net astern relentlessly wasn't enhancing the bank balance.
