    if you were lucky and the 7.26 glasgow train didnae get you you could cross the line and get into the cow shed just before kick off  on a night game  ;)
    I dont think you would get away with that now. More stewards than supporters at the games now.

    Aye, good pick ;)- it was all steel v doors by the time I was around as a boy . But I do remember a few boats had no gallows just mollgoggers(open top sheave things) i think they called them, wi the doors hanging below the quarter. I think this was at the very end of ringing and allowed them tae switch tae herring easy :> leavin aft clear to shot the ring net. Must o been a bugger connecting the doors esp. on rough days!! ( a few dookins!!?)
