Starting to get a feel for it now after siting the wheelhouse for an impression. Just like babies, they don't start off very bonnie but they soon shine with a bit o TLC and attention. Successfully cut down a 6inch prop shaft to 4inch. Rethreaded the shaft and pushed out the bearing with a drift from the waste bit of the tube. Then fitted the bearing to the cut end of the shorter tube and Bob's yer auntie. So that got the prop shaft installed.
