These are cut from 1mm ply to which the wooden window frames will be added. A tip for cutting out the window apertures is to cut them out before the different panels are separated from the sheet. This avoids the narrow window surrounds distorting with the pressure from the knife. I usually do this job using plastic but decided on wood this time. I don't follow any established rules for assembly so it can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. (There's more than one way to skin a cat.) Lol
