Another good one that Ally, the thickness fairly makes the photo, gives it the atmosphere.Nae radar on them either, might be mid 60s or thereabouts?(think they had Decca 101s in later years).
i might be wrong but i think she is now in whitby chartering
your half right,,   she,s in whitby,    but not chartering anymore..

Doubt if there would be a coakynut going for guessing who's astern of him..think it would be a safe bet to say it's the Stardust :coolsmiley:
One of the best photo's ever posted, and thanks for answering my question Ronny, I was wondering which vessel was astern ?.

    O0 :coolsmiley: O0 O0

I'd love a poster sized print of this one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
think that will be the stardust lh.228 in back ground.that pair were never far away from each other.these lads went on to build the nova spero and stardust ll in 73, built the margarets in 87 and aquired the new  nova spero from ireland in 89 ex lynda ellen.

A very strong contender for photo of the year even though it is only the 5th of January. Brilliant.
    Cheers
