now a houseboat down south
her seine net winch and coilers were positioned behind the wheel house,,and a creel hauler in front of the wheelhouse,originally.
coming into eyemouth there ,the old lifeboat house behind her..

New wheelhouse that,she had a long wooden one on originally I think,did it no have a door at the back for getting to the winch and one on the starboard side for the creels?
aye shes modernised there rope reels too,,think you could be right about the 2 doors.

Had some fun with the grenna stunt machines,fiddly guide on gear,
what a difference they reels must of made though,,be more cups of tea drunk time o, heavin than before,,,,

built 1955 at Eyemouth, I think. The yard was then owned by a Mr Bell from up t Edinburgh way, but still trading under the Weatherhead name. Gardner 92 hp when new.
Is that a double size reel on strbd side to allow overending ropes to even out wear? I think some (bigger) boats had three reels to allow this.
