Girl Jean AH76 lower hull primed

Girl Jean AH76 lower hull primed

First coat of red oxide primer sprayed to lower hull below water line. Too early?...... no!   The benefits apart from relieving the monotony are that it shows clearly the bits that were previously missed when filling with the P38. So back to the shed for a little bit more filling.

    Looking good , Will.   :coolsmiley:

Thanks buddy.  There's nothing compares wi the creation of a hull and you cross that threshold from basic woodwork to something personal.  . For me, I find kit-building really scary and I admire people that can do them. It's no just boats. Used to spend weeks building a railway wagon when I coulda bought a kit and built it in an evening  Something to do with fouling it up and no knowing how to fix it. Gone a bit slower this last week mainly with domestic distractions like finding space for new furniture and getting rid of the old. Brakes are off again!
