both yawls still fishing Kittiwake out of Skye skippered by Roddy Mackinnon and Ocean Swell now the Venture BRD179 out of Blyth
She must be a tough wee ship the Kittiwake.With the amount of hammerings she took lying at the South Pier in Nor'westers and the thumping her ar*e got at the North pier at times taking the bottom it's a wonder she's still floating..Tommy Summers certainly built 'em good and strong

Think A & J Buchan PD built a Kittiwake. Looks like her. If it is , must be around her 50th birthday somewhere!
Always thought she was a Summers Gee Bee,wrong again! Whoever built her though,she was a cracking good wee seaboat.The lads that had her here put in some gey soor Winter days at times,and they werenae exactly young men either..twa hardy chiels right enough.
