Think I've emptied a treasure trove out of the codend with some of these oldies. Brighter Morn PD339, built 1960 for John Mair, PD. Launched same day as Fragrance, down Irvins' slip. Both had 240 Kelvins. Sold to Gamrie to Jim (Fairmer) Watt, and Forbes (Fob) West. By this time, boat had been re-engined with 320 Kelvin.
Was deckie aboard her. Great crew, good fishing .. pair trawl, shrimps, white-fish. Home most weekends. Happy ship!
Sold to Peter (Emms? or something like that) in SW England. Major refit in Gloucester Canal .. sank in North Sea off Scarborough soon after.
