Not retired Steve over in Eire think was fishing still and was on sale on FAFB this might have been when Alasdair Montgomery had her
she went ashore on Rhum about 96 when the Kennings owned her in Mallaig, and she was bought off the insurance by some one fron the Arran Islands in Eire then the Kennings got the Betty James from either Bridlington or Whitby to replace her
i rember the starter stripping the teeth on the flywheel , and some poor lad sitting there with a file cleaning them up , turning the engine a few inches at a time to get at the teeth through the starter hole. i rember this one being refered to as the disastra
the betty james went ashore as well and was lost.
