Mind when u had this 1 cooooo, just like the milky bar advert, a legend was born. The rest is history ovarrrr .
HE"LL PROBABLY GET JOHN TO DRAW THIS ONE FOR THE CN HALL OF FAME OVVAAARRRRR !!!
Bob Mccutcheon got her from moray firth area 1973 worked foursome;Silver Quest;Storm Drift,Marie at minch herring fishing, sold to IOM about 1980
on first glance thought it was the Islander ... must have an eye for Nobles boats ..... that shelter is a shocker thou..............hate the shelter when on the Islander looks awful and is always dirty.......
i just about remember her when cutchie had her, the next in the line was a much nicer boat, gave you something to aspire to, his neebur too and the oruna, were my "when i grow up and get one of my own" boats.
This one and Silver Quest were four boats with Cathrine Anne & Maryeared, Ettrick Bay and Ardlamont one Autum, Big Douglas was in fine trim in early every night, couple of loads away up the road at night, then land their Quota in the morning, never be poor again was his battlecry.
she was a great boat towed great the engine out her is now in the alpha
Aye she was a bonnie boat she was owned by angus macleod up here kept her well. Shame she got the chop. My uncle took this pic, thats his dug by the "kings lamp".Sure he'll no mind a former skipper posting it though!
