looks like you stood in the exact same spot as http://www.trawlerpi...a=view;id=10398

good comparison sad there's not a single working boat to be seen though
It is a shame ,all those beautiful harbours many have been updated these last few years and only used by pleasure boats now   O0 ???

Fishermen's loss is the yachtsmen's gain Norman, but it could have been so different if only the.....far too early in the day for a rant, and it's all been said before anyway,so I'll keep quiet! Smashing pic of a bonny wee harbour taken on a nice sunny day...looking at it is just the thing to cheer ye up on a cold Winter morning like we've got here at the moment ???
working fishing boats bring a harbour to life ronnie ,but like you say at least the pleasure boats help to keep them open

Better filled with pleasure boats than empty and derelict I suppose, and a yachtsman's pound is every bit as welcome as a fisherman's when it comes to revenue, but there's nothing to beat a commercial harbour as far as the tourists are concerned. If it's a choice between watching a fishing boat landing or a W.A.F.I. fannying about aboard his plastic fantastic you know which one the visitor will pick ???
The fish and chips are good on the quayside
