    this the 1 Harkess family had ? Is it also the 1 that the grip (old gun off a warship) on the north side of the firth Ely or buckers is named after ?

    The one I'm thinking about was built in Macduff around 1950 for the late Archie McCallum of Macduff, who later built Sheigra. A gentleman. She was a very full, beefy boat .. typical Clem Paterson design. Can't really make her out from this pic, but she was about that length.
    the one you are talking about gee bee fished out of mevagissey cornwall for a while. not sure where she went after mevagissey
