For all you old romantics about the ring netters.This was taken on a Sun afternoon,i was sitting on my "ugly tractor" wi a cup of tea,heater on feet up waitin for the Man Utd game to start on Sky.The Ringers look lovely i admit but give me the modern comforts everyday.

Norman my first skippers job was in the Village Maid wi chain steering an a belt driven winch so i have some experience of the focsle.
The older boats that are still full timing are getting fewer and fewer now Bob so its great to see the photos being posted
on days like this, the wheelhoose would be full of bodies and even doon the engineroom for a heat and comfort,,,
