    I was  on the SUNBEAM ; pair trawling for mackerel west north west of the But of Lewis with this boat ...when Bert  Andrews  who had the PATHFINDER ringer and lattery the purser; was lost over the side . He was knocked over with the dog rope while heaving up a big haul .Despite a big search by at least 20 boats and a nimrod aircraft ... he was never found..lost to the sea ...I didnt know him all that well..but those who did all spoke very highly of him ..God Bless him....

    Thank you gw,for your message I think aboot that times a good lot ...even although there were the good times,,there were also very sad times. It must be just aboot 20years ago this month/ February or late January..
