Whitby Crest WY.318

    Bonny boat
i mick she was a lovely boat for the pots it dont seem like 20 years since we had her
Now laid somewhere in Norfolk in poor condition I believe.
20 years chris shocking eh i would have said half of that without working it out a few boats and a divorce each since then!! wonder if it's beyond repair now was going to look for it at one point but just didn't get round to it. possibly too late now
i mick we well shot of old rubbish eh thats the ex wives i mean at least the boats made us money and not cost us a small fortune we thought about buying her back thats the boat i mean ha when we bought the licence of her for the new boat but simon had just sold her to a retired boatbuilder who was going to do her up again i think i took a year or 2 off her that rough day at the salmon but was a very good sea boat
I'd found a email address for that simon and tried sending a message to see what had happened to it but got no reply. Hopefully it's not got a great big shack on it be a shame for it to be spoilt. Thats the only thing with wood it gives a bit. Was thinking of going plastic next but we'll see. Would have been worth paying a fortune to get rid of the ex !! breathe a sign of relief when ever i see her. no longer stuck with it!!!!!!!!
it bloody did cost me a fortune and she still wants more.  ;D. i got simons number i will try and get in touch.
Christ thought that episode would have been long finished now! Cheers chris
when built by jack lowther she had a aft wheelhouse
mick me and our david just on about when we got the whitby crest dont think it was that long ago you got the enterprise off us in the summer of 1990 when we got the boy peter from amble decommissioned that in 95 for the k33 endurance we sold whitby crest to simon the day the twin towers were blown up that was when we were ready to start with the other k33 enterprise a wich andrew needler bought off us in 2003 for us to get our first g10 so i think it was late 90s when we bought her
