The pot hauler is probably a half shaft hauler, driven from the back of the engine, thro' a differential .havn't seen one in years.

Hauler was made by Landels, engineers of Berwick on Tweed.
she isnt that tidy now, i went up to have a look at her was looking to buy her, she looks like she has been abandoned was full of rain water and junk, and i was told her engine was buggered, have some pics will post soon.
I spoke with the Coble's owner, Mel Dieghton this afternoon and he confirmed that the boat is NOT for sale, he has heard the rumours but said there was no truth that he wanted rid of her. Mel acknowledges that she needs some TLC (yet again) and plans to have her out of the water and repainted in the Summer. Also has plans for an engine change over.  The lad works a lot of hours so hasn't had the time to devote to his boat but hopes that this changes soon.
