Ship's Integrated Navigation System (S.I.N.S.) or as we in the trade call it "the Tom Tom oot the car".Lying at anchor in Charlie's Bay a few miles North East of Oban one night a couple of weeks ago and was testing it out...worked fine...would have been nice if the icon had been a wee boat, but ye cannae have it all ways I suppose.
maybe sell it to the Royal Navy Ronnie, maybe give them chance!!!!
Aye Barry,a billion pounds worth of hi-tech gear aboard yon sub and still she gets her ar*e felt on the putty...if he had just gone to Argos and spent a hundred quid like me he could have saved himself a lot of bother
MOD/HM Government cuts - use of Tom Tom's for navigational purposes - no wonder Astute ran aground

surely they could all have chipped in bought a lump of lead and then tie their shoe laces together could have met the government cuts...... Credit crunch depth sounder!!!
Am in fits Ronnie...what are you like...well that's one way to recycle I suppose lol...absolutely hillarious.....all you need now is a computer expert to change the car for a cute wee boat and you're sorted !
....Priceless !!!
....Priceless !!!
I dare say there might be one or two crew members gainfully employed as human depth sounders after the enquiry Barry
am sure thats a volkswagon beetle yiv got ther ronnie , yi see so many o them on the water no adays ronnie
That's exactly what the wife thought Davie and she had a wee Beetle years ago(and a typical wumman..she even gied it a name.."Bunty" )
the tom tom-whatever bloody next!-i suppose it`s a step up from the `road atlas oot the car`for a spot of navigation!
