My old boat
Hello Norman, I am working out of Barrow at the moment, where did you berth the boats when you were working, under the bridge or below?
Hi mate , i have a mooring north of the bridge we used to put the Easter Morn on that or in the entrance to the old graving dock by the dock museum there are a couple of boats on the quay now the Elaina Lee and the ferro cement fishing boat ,all are north of the bridge tied up.,the bridge only lifts now on a restricted basis,it was manned every hw at one time, are u on the windfarm or dredgers ?
on the windfarm Norman, out yesterday but no sail today so doing a bit of maitainance, hope you are well.
Our lad is skipper of Wind Transporter he,s back in on Tuesday you will have to have a crack with him he used to fish a cheetah cat ,cheers mate all the best
will do Norman, she is a big lump of a vessel, I am told she has a gyro fitted for stability, would like to see that,
I told him you would be going aboard for a coffee and a look around when he,s back on next week mate ,he,s out fishing in the bay today a few bass not a lot going on slack tides !!
