came to portavogie owner john, warnock for short while, then sold to south, of ireland. lovely ringer.
she paired at the herring ringing down south in the middles fifties with the Radient Queen for while . both boats belong to portavogie owners at 1 time.
Anyone know build details and date of pic???

T he Wilsheernie was built dual purpose she neeboured the Jean Wood at the ringnet sold to Portavogie she was almost new not very old.
Every time I see a pic of Miller's skiffs of the late 40s/early 50s I think that they were as bonny a model as any of the yards produced..think the stern was the clincher for me,but there again I've aye been an admirer o' a nicely roonded starn baith ashore and afloat
Slight correction on the name it was the "Wilshernie" called after Ernie Wood's bairns Wilma, Sheena & Ernie, I mind of going to the May on her when I was about 8 or 9.
