That's a topper of a pic, must be 1930s or more as the motor lifeboat's there and the yacht looks like Lord Balfour's "Dunpelder",think she was built by Weatherheads early/mid 30s someway. The yawl alongside the drifter is the Brunton's "Brothers" and a guess at the bigger of the yawls astern of him(one with the after mast) might be my Granfather's "Jane and William" but that's a wild guess. The big motor Fifie certainly isnae a Dunbarman..Port Seton maybe?? What's the drifter's up to with that big foremast..or is it a lifting pole for something? Very interesting photo anyway, cheers for that one Ally.
Thought you'd like that one Ronnie
is the drifter no bob the DIVER,S boat, the big mast was for lifting salvage?/
no sure if that ones the JACOB GEORGE,,or the SILVER SKY??,
lifeboat might be GEORGE AND SARAH STRACHAN,,or WILLIAM PICKARD??

Could very well be "The Diver's" drifter Jacob George..he certainly wouldnae be oot hauling drifts wi' yon contraption up forrit! Still cannae make up my mind about the furthest away boat..is that a Fifie stern on her or a wee drifter stern??..looks mair like a Fifie going by the shape of her..don't think she's as big as I first though..40 odd feet maybe?
