Another Godmother Gift. This ship was longer in building than planned - builders went bust. I think the bare hull was built in Bulgaria, then towed to Norway, then towed around Norway to a yard now specialising in super-yachts.
This is THE ROV vessel, six ROVs (two cursers down her stbd side and five moonpools) and capable of operating in the Barents Sea.
Thanks for the nudge, Bulgaria it was. It was Flekkefjord that Palmer Johnson took over.
Offshore Magazine describes gives these details...
"Normand Subsea features a fully enclosed hangar; built-in module handling system, 150-metric ton (165-ton) heave compensated crane, two work class ROVs and four observation class ROVs all equipped for 1,200-m (3,937-ft) depths, a hull with five moonpools, a well treatment system, and an online and offline survey suite."

Built as:
2009-10 Bulyard Shipbuilding Industry AD - Varna (Hull) Yard/hull No.: 007 - Bulgaria
2009-10 Palmer Johnson Norway AS - Feda Yard/hull No.: 190 - Norway
