For the sake of doing something that wasn't thousands of tons, steel-hulled and painted red, and because TT57 had been mentioned at some point, this wee thing was painted this week. It's not a commission, so I'm not going to bother finishing it - I've done all the bits I like doing and this was DIY therapy after all. Cheaper than a holiday.
Painting the odd wooden hull is good for the soul, especially if you're beginning to see offshore ships in your sleep.
How do you pronounce MARYEARED?
brilliant!!!
FANTASTIC Rob, I love it.
Thanks you two, getting into the theraputic spirit!

Cracking bit of video, it's going to be good for keeping me right on the details in future. I hope. That first Maryeared has a lot more material online that the current TT57. I could only find three photos on Flickr, and not many here or on Trawler Photos.
Fantastic painting if you were to drop the Y inthe name the name would be pronounced as MAR AE RED
there was a ringer in TT called the Maryaered she belonged to the Mc Alpine family, I think this boat
belongs to one of there grandson's

Sorry Rob slight mistake in the spelling should be Maryeared pronounced Mar rea red
Thanks George, though you had me checking the title for my own spelling. Now I don't have to stick to saying TT57!
